Red Moon Creative Arts Theatre are delighted to be on board for the Frederick Douglass Civil Rights Festival Wexford 2022! Join us for a super creative, super fun Puppet-making Workshop & Puppet Show (2 hours) where participants will create their very own structured sock puppets with all kinds of inspiring art-&-crafting materials (including bespoke puppet noses/eyes/ears/teeth/hands/hair and anything else the children invent) followed by a go in Red Moon’s ‘Professional Puppet Booth’ where everyone will take to the ‘puppet stage’ to introduce their new puppet characters to the world! At the end of the workshop, Red Moon’s own puppet friends will present their story ‘Serendipity Spider Fights For Her Rights!’ which tells the fun and fabulous tale of a bunch of badly-treated and overlooked critter friends who find how to make their little voices heard in a BiG way!
About Red Moon
Red Moon Creative Arts Theatre (explorers of the imagination) are proud to have delivered their unique brand of original comedy/drama Theatre-in-Education shows and programmes, creative arts workshops and camps, drama and art classes and bespoke children’s entertainment to young people in the South East (and beyond) for over 25 years. In all our work we offer children an outlet through which to express and experience, an opportunity to extend the magic of childhood through creativity and imaginative collaboration and the option to embrace their individuality in a positive and proactive environment. Most of all we are fully invested in having lots of ‘fun-as-we-learn’ and are always ready to embark on the next intrepid ‘exploration of the imagination’ with any enthusiastic young adventurers that want to join in!
